Health and safety

Move at the pace your body agrees with

Sessions stay small, six people at most, so your instructor can watch how you set up and offer a variation before a position stops feeling comfortable. Our teachers are movement teachers, not medical providers. A class is not a diagnosis, a treatment, or a replacement for care from your doctor.

  • Tell your instructor before class about injuries, pregnancy, recent surgery, or any condition that limits movement.
  • Stop and rest whenever you need to. Nothing in a beginner session requires you to push through pain.
  • Skip deep twists, loaded stretches, and inversions until an instructor has taught you the setup in person.
  • Ask about bolsters and chair options if getting down to the floor is uncomfortable.

You will never be asked to hold a pose you have not been taught, and you can leave a class early without explanation.
